An open-source Python package for building transport models: multi-class user-equilibrium traffic assignment, demand matrices in OMX format, import of public transport lines from GTFS and network storage in a SpatiaLite database. The QAequilibraE plugin for QGIS adds a graphical interface, flow maps and desire lines. Suited to transport engineers and researchers looking for a flexible alternative to commercial packages. Full use requires working in Python.
