A browser tool that selects the right mounting system for installing solar panels. It covers a wide range of surfaces: flat, mixed, Arabic and slate tiles; flat roofs in concrete, deck, landscaped and gravel; and corrugated, sandwich and tile-imitation sheeting. It accepts panel heights from 1.8 to 2.3 m, widths from 1.0 to 1.15 m and thicknesses of 30, 35 or 40 mm. Choosing the fixing for panels is a point where a mistake is expensive — water ingress through the roof, or failure under wind load — and the tool reduces it to a structured selection.
