Runs in the Browser

Browser-based tools are the fastest way in: no installation, no dependence on the operating system, and you can work from a machine where you have no admin rights — a lab, or a site office.

This is where all the ADIT calculation programs sit, along with online engineering calculators, GIS tools and cloud simulation platforms. Some run entirely on your own machine and the data never leaves the browser; others run the computation on a server.

That distinction matters when the design is sensitive: check whether the calculation is local or in the cloud, and in the cloud case, whether the output is stored publicly. It is stated in the licence terms on each software page.
