CloudConvert is a browser-based service that converts documents, spreadsheets, presentations, images, vector graphics, e-books, audio and video, with advanced settings per conversion such as quality, resolution and codec. Files can be pulled from and saved to Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox, and there is an API for building conversions into a workflow. The servers are in Germany, the company is bound by GDPR, and files are deleted at once with the delete button or automatically within 24 hours. Limitation: the free plan gives 10 credits a day and files up to 1 GB; conversions such as Office to PDF use more than one credit, so in practice it is fewer than 10 conversions.
