Limited Free Version

The free version is open to everyone — there is no eligibility test — but it is reduced compared to the full product. The restriction may be missing capability, a compute quota, or the fact that everything you create is stored publicly and visible to anyone.

That last one is the most important and the most easily missed: in several cloud tools in this category, every model you upload on the free plan is public. For coursework that is fine; for a client’s design it is not.

So the rule here is simple — before uploading sensitive design work to a tool in this category, read exactly what is limited. The full licence terms are on each software page.
