ezyZip is a website for compressing and extracting archives that runs the processing inside the browser, so according to the site files never leave the computer. It creates ZIP, password-protected ZIP, 7Z, TAR.GZ, ISO and self-extracting archives, opens more than 350 formats including RAR, 7Z, ISO, CAB and split archives, and converts between formats. It is handy on a client’s computer or a site PC where installing software is not allowed, and for fairly sensitive files, since nothing is uploaded. Limitation: the free version shows ads and has a file-size limit, and very large files depend on browser memory.
