ConvertX

C4illin (open-source project)

ConvertX

ConvertX is an open-source file converter that you install with Docker on a server, NAS or office computer and use from the browser like a conversion website, but the files stay on your own network. Behind the interface it runs well-known tools such as LibreOffice, Pandoc, ImageMagick, Inkscape, FFmpeg, Calibre and Assimp, so it converts documents, images, vector graphics, e-books, audio, video and even 3D models. It handles several files at once and several password-protected users. It suits an engineering office that wants an internal conversion service without sending drawings to outside websites. Limitation: it needs basic Docker skills, and an account should be set up right after installation.
