CBE Clima Tool
Download from the vendor clima.cbe.berkeley.edu

CBE Clima Tool reads EPW weather files, from a map of about 30,000 public files or from your own upload, and presents the climate in interactive charts: sun path coloured by a second variable, wind roses by season and time of day, a psychrometric chart, heat maps of the UTCI thermal comfort index under four sun and wind exposure scenarios, and an estimate of hours suitable for natural ventilation. Architects and HVAC engineers use it in early design to choose passive strategies, and it is used in teaching. Limitation: the tool checks only the file structure, not the quality of the data in it.
