iRIC Project

iRIC

iRIC is a working environment for analysing river flow and bed changes, combining mesh preparation, running solvers and viewing results in one interface. It brings together solvers from the USGS and from RIC-Nays, with additional solvers for floods, driftwood and inundation. Hydraulic engineers use it for two-dimensional river models, sediment and bed-change calculations and flood mapping. Limitation: it runs on 64-bit Windows, and downloading requires registering on the site.
