SIMARIS design calculates and dimensions power distribution networks based on real products. You enter the network structure, and the program computes short-circuit currents to IEC 60909, voltage drop, load flow and losses, sizes cables by installation method with IEC 60364-5-52 factors, and selects breakers and protection against overload and short circuit, including selectivity checks and characteristic curves. The single-line diagram exports to DWG, DXF and PDF. Limitations: Windows only, the protection devices in the catalogue are Siemens products, and features such as parallel operation of transformers and generators and automatic selectivity evaluation are reserved for the paid version.
