Converseen — The Complete Guide: Convert and Resize Hundreds of Site Photos at Once

Converseen is an open-source batch image processor built on ImageMagick. You pick a folder of images and convert, resize, rotate and compress them all in one go. After a site visit with dozens of phone photos, it is the quickest way to prepare them for an inspection report or for sending.

What you get

A report workflow

Copy the visit photos into a folder, convert from HEIC to JPG, resize to a uniform width and rename with sequential numbers. The result: light images that go into the report in order, and a report file small enough to email. The program runs on Windows, macOS and Linux.

Related tools

For quick conversion from the right-click menu — File Converter. For batch processing from the command line — ImageMagick. For viewing and sorting images — XnView MP.

The bottom line

Converseen turns an hour of image chores into a minute. Open source and free for commercial use too.
