7-Zip-zstd

7-Zip-zstd is a community fork of 7-Zip for Windows that adds Zstandard, Brotli, LZ4, LZ5, Lizard and Fast LZMA2 to the usual codecs. It opens every 7-Zip format, such as 7Z, ZIP, RAR, ISO and CAB, plus ZST, LZ4 and Brotli files, and creates 7Z archives with the new codecs alongside ZIP, TAR, GZ, XZ and WIM. It is useful for backing up and moving large simulation results, point clouds and models, where compression speed matters more than ratio. Limitation: 7Z archives made with the extra codecs will not open in standard 7-Zip or other programs.

Licence typeCompletely Free, Open Source
Licence termsOpen source under the GNU LGPL like the original 7-Zip: free for any use, including commercial, with no registration. The RAR extraction code is subject to the unRAR restriction, which forbids using it to build a RAR compressor. This is a separate community project, not by the original 7-Zip developer.
