CutePDF Writer installs a virtual printer, so any program that can print, such as a spreadsheet, an older CAD program or an analysis package, can produce a PDF file. You can edit document properties and protect the file with a password using 256-bit AES encryption. It runs on Windows from Vista onwards and also on Windows Server and terminal servers. Limitations: a PS2PDF converter such as Ghostscript must be installed separately, and it has no editing, merging or commenting tools.
