Digital — logic simulator

Helmut Neemann

Digital — logic simulator

Digital lets you assemble a digital circuit on a canvas — gates, flip-flops, memories, counters, even a complete processor — and run it step by step or continuously, watching the value on every wire. It has truth tables that translate automatically into a circuit, analysis of an existing circuit back into a truth table, and automated tests.

What sets it apart from Logisim: it exports real VHDL and Verilog, so the circuit you built for teaching can be programmed onto an FPGA. That makes it a good bridge between a logic course and practical work.
