Foxit PDF Reader opens and prints PDF files, fills AcroForm and XFA forms and lets you add comments: highlights, underlines, sticky notes and file attachments. You can sign with a handwritten or electronic signature and check the status of digital signatures in a document. Engineers use it to mark up drawings and specifications, return documents for review and fill in forms. Limitation: the document’s text and images cannot be edited; that needs the paid Foxit PDF Editor, which the program promotes with a trial offer.
