KLayout
Download from the vendor www.klayout.de

A program for viewing and editing integrated-circuit layouts in the formats used across the semiconductor industry: GDS2, OASIS, DXF, CIF, Gerber and LEF/DEF. It opens very large files quickly and offers XOR comparison between versions, boolean operations, parametrised cells and full undo. A built-in IDE for Ruby and Python scripts lets you run DRC and LVS checks and generate layout automatically. It is a core tool in open-source chip design flows, and PCB engineers also use it to inspect Gerber files.
