nanoCAD Free is a 2D drafting program that works directly with DWG files, with a command line, layers, dimensions, blocks and plotting in a style familiar to AutoCAD users. It suits opening and editing drawings, drafting details and printing sheets. Limitations: it is an old release (nanoCAD 5), English only, supporting DWG files up to version 2013 and unable to open 2018-format files; the vendor does not guarantee Windows 10 and 11 compatibility, and the product page says it is intended for non-commercial use.
