Pynite

A Python library for 3D finite element analysis of structures. You define nodes, beams, columns and plates in code, apply load cases and combinations, and get displacements, reactions and moment, shear and deflection diagrams. It supports static, P-Δ and modal analysis, pushover of steel frames, shear walls and mat foundations, and produces a PDF report. There is no graphical interface — work is done in a script or Jupyter, which suits repetitive calculations and cross-checking commercial software.
