pyStrata

A Python library for site response analysis during earthquakes: it computes how bedrock motion is amplified or reduced on its way up through soil layers to the surface. It supports equivalent-linear analysis (including a frequency-dependent version), linear analysis, time series and random vibration theory (RVT). It aims to implement many of the features of the Strata program in script form, which makes it possible to run large sets of profiles. No graphical interface.
