Screenity is a Chrome extension that records a tab, an area, the desktop, an application or the camera, with microphone or internal audio. While recording you can draw and annotate on screen, highlight clicks, blur sensitive content and set an automatic stop. Recordings are saved on your computer, no sign-up is needed, and you can export to MP4, GIF, WebM or Google Drive. It suits a quick walkthrough of a web app, a bug report or feedback on an online document. Limitation: it works only in Chrome-based browsers, and the advanced editor and share links belong to a paid Pro subscription.
