Strata

Albert Kottke

Strata

Strata performs one-dimensional equivalent-linear seismic site response analysis, using acceleration time series or random vibration theory. It computes how the soil layers above bedrock amplify or attenuate ground motion, and allows randomised soil properties to assess uncertainty. Geotechnical and earthquake engineers use it to estimate the response spectrum at a specific site.
