UltraVNC is a Windows VNC implementation that adds file transfer, chat, multi-monitor support and installation as a service. It also has a small SC component you can prepare in advance and send to a colleague so they can open an outgoing support connection without a full install. It suits support on the office network and control of Windows workstations and servers. Limitations: it runs only on Windows (other systems can connect through the Java viewer), and encryption needs a separate plugin, so outside the local network use it through a VPN.
