VERT

VERT-sh (open-source project)

VERT

VERT is a file converter that runs in the browser and converts images, audio files and documents on the computer itself using WebAssembly, so the files never leave the machine. There are no ads, no service-imposed count or file-size limit, and several files can be converted together and downloaded as a ZIP. It suits quickly converting a HEIC or WebP image to JPG, or an audio file, on a computer where you cannot install software. Limitation: video is converted on the project’s server and deleted after download or after one hour; for fully local work you can host VERT on your own server.
