WASP

WASP is a dynamic water-quality model from the US Environmental Protection Agency. It simulates rivers, lakes, reservoirs and estuaries, and computes concentrations of nutrients, dissolved oxygen, algae (eutrophication), sediments and toxic pollutants over time. Environmental and water engineers use it to assess pollution loads, test remediation scenarios and plan treatment.
