A Python library from the US Environmental Protection Agency and Sandia Laboratories for simulating and analysing water distribution networks. It reads EPANET files, runs hydraulics (including pressure-dependent demand) and water quality, and lets you build scenarios of pipe breaks, leaks, power outages and natural disasters, test operational responses and compute resilience metrics. It suits water engineers who want to run hundreds of scenarios by script rather than by hand.
