Xyce — Parallel Analog Circuit Simulator

Xyce — Parallel Analog Circuit Simulator
Download from the vendor xyce.sandia.gov

A circuit simulator written at Sandia National Laboratories to solve one specific problem: circuits too large for ordinary SPICE. Instead of one processor, Xyce spreads the solution across many processors or a compute cluster, so it can handle circuits with millions of devices. It supports DC, AC, transient, harmonic balance and sensitivity analyses with standard device models. It has no schematic front end — it reads a netlist and produces data, and is aimed at people already working that way. It complements Ngspice, already in the directory, which suits circuits of ordinary size.
