Acoular

Acoular processes recordings from microphone arrays to locate and map noise sources, for example on machines, fans, vehicles and in wind tunnels. It includes many beamforming algorithms, deconvolution methods to sharpen resolution, time- and frequency-domain processing, 3D mapping and support for stationary and moving sources. Computation is accelerated with Numba and intermediate results are cached. You can work from scripts or through a GUI. Limitation: it needs Python and signal processing knowledge, and it does not include measurement hardware.
