ActivityWatch
Download from the vendor activitywatch.net

A tool that automatically logs which program and window you worked in throughout the day, and with extensions also browser sites and work in code editors. You group the activity into categories, for example by project, and get a summary of working time. All data stays on your own computer and is never sent to a server. Useful for engineers who report hours to several projects and clients and want to reconstruct exactly what they worked on.
