Agros Suite

Agros Suite is a 2D finite-element program with a full graphical interface, developed at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen on top of the deal.II library. You draw the geometry, assign materials and boundary conditions, and it builds an adaptive mesh and solves. It covers electrostatics, magnetic fields including eddy currents, heat transfer, elasticity, laminar flow and acoustics, as well as coupled problems between them. It is one of the few tools of its kind that works without writing code, which makes it well suited to teaching and quick checks of motors, coils, insulators and heat exchangers. It can also be driven from Python, with built-in parameter optimisation.
