Apache Guacamole

Apache Software Foundation

Apache Guacamole
Download from the vendor guacamole.apache.org

Apache Guacamole is installed once on a server, usually Linux or Docker, and from there shows the computers configured in it in the browser through RDP, VNC or SSH. An office can thus give engineers access from site or home to workstations and compute servers through a single web page, with users, permissions and session recording, without installing software on the computers they connect from. Limitation: installation and hardening need server administration skills, and if the gateway is reachable from the internet it must be protected with HTTPS, two-factor authentication and updates.
