Channelflow

Channelflow is a parallel (MPI) C++ system for numerical analysis of incompressible flow in channel geometries — Couette flow, Poiseuille flow and boundary layers — using accurate spectral methods. Beyond plain simulation, it includes tools for finding equilibria, travelling waves and periodic orbits of the Navier-Stokes equations, and for tracking them as parameters change. Suited mainly to turbulence researchers and graduate students. Limitations: it is limited to channel geometry, has no graphical interface, and is built for Linux.
