FluidX3D

Moritz Lehmann

FluidX3D

FluidX3D runs lattice Boltzmann flow simulations directly on the graphics card, from Nvidia, AMD or Intel, so it reaches grids of hundreds of millions of cells on a desktop PC. It imports geometry from STL files, computes forces and torques on bodies, supports free-surface flow, thermal convection, LES turbulence and moving boundaries, and renders results live or exports to VTK. It suits teaching, research and quick aerodynamic checks. Limitation: commercial use is not allowed, and set-up is done by editing C++ code rather than through a GUI.
