Frog

Frog is a simple Linux desktop app: you select a screen region and the text in it is recognised and copied to the clipboard, even when it is part of an image, a video, a website or a scanned PDF. It also decodes QR codes. It suits engineers working on Linux who want to quickly copy a value from a data sheet, a line from a scanned standard or text from a software screenshot. Limitation: it is a quick-capture tool, not a batch processor for whole documents, and it runs on Linux only.
