GetFEM

GetFEM project (Yves Renard and contributors)

GetFEM

GetFEM is a mature, flexible finite-element library in which you write the problem in a dedicated weak-form language and the library automatically derives the tangents for nonlinear solution. It is especially strong in contact and friction problems, cracks (XFEM) and coupled problems. The core is written in C++, with interfaces to Python, GNU Octave, Matlab and Scilab, so you can work in a familiar environment. It suits researchers and engineers building a dedicated model.
