A Python platform for multi-scale modelling and optimisation of processes and energy systems, developed under the lead of U.S. Department of Energy laboratories and academic partners. You build a flowsheet from unit models and property packages and solve it as one equation system — for simulation and optimisation. It is built on Pyomo, and a dedicated command installs the required solvers. It suits process engineers and researchers working on power plants, carbon capture and chemical processes. There is no graphical interface; work is done in notebooks and code.
