Maker Edition is a version of Ignition, a SCADA and IIoT platform widely used in industry, for private users. It includes the Perspective module for browser and mobile screens, historian, alarms, reports, SQL Bridge, OPC UA and drivers for Modbus, Allen-Bradley, Siemens and Omron, plus MQTT. It suits practising and building a portfolio before working with the industrial version, and home and lab projects. Limitations: it is allowed for individuals for personal, non-commercial use only, up to 10,000 tags and 10 sessions, without the Vision module and with no support beyond the forum.
