Krita is the KDE community’s open-source digital painting and illustration program. It includes hundreds of brushes, layers, pen-tablet support and basic image editing. Architects and designers use it for sketches, hand-drawn style renderings and touching up project images. The download from the official site is free; the paid versions in app stores are only a convenient way to support the project.
