LazPaint

LazPaint is a lightweight image editor written in Lazarus that combines raster layers with vector layers, so shapes, arrows and text drawn over a photo stay editable. It includes selection tools, filters, colour corrections and resizing, and has a portable version that runs from a folder without installation. It suits an engineer who needs a small, fast editor on a work computer without install rights, for marking defects on photos and preparing simple figures for a report. Limitation: it is a small project that updates slowly, and its tools are less polished than those of GIMP or Krita.
