MKVToolNix
Download from the vendor mkvtoolnix.download

MKVToolNix includes mkvmerge to build Matroska (MKV) files from other media files, mkvextract to pull out tracks and mkvinfo to show file information, together with a convenient graphical interface. With it you join several clips into one file, split a long recording by time or size, add or remove audio, subtitle and chapter tracks, and change track language and names, all without re-encoding, so quickly and with no quality loss. It suits organising recordings of lectures, meetings and long documentation. Limitation: it targets MKV as the output format and is not an editor or a re-encoder.
