A working environment layered over EnergyPlus that adds a geometric model, construction and system libraries, and scripting to automate alternatives testing. Instead of editing a text input file you build the building and its systems in an interface, run, and compare scenarios. This is the practical way to work with EnergyPlus on a real project, and it is developed at the US National Renewable Energy Laboratory.
