Pandoc

A command-line tool for converting documents between dozens of formats: Markdown, Word and ODT, LaTeX, HTML, EPUB, PowerPoint and more. It creates PDF through a LaTeX engine or HTML engines, handles citations and bibliographies in CSL styles, and supports custom templates and filters. Engineers use it to write technical documentation and reports in plain text and publish them as Word or PDF using an organisation’s template. There is no graphical interface, and PDF output needs an additional engine.
