Project Chrono
Download from the vendor projectchrono.org

An open-source physics simulation infrastructure in C++, with a Python interface called PyChrono. It simulates multibody systems with joints, motors and actuators, contact and friction, finite elements for beams, cables, shells and solids, wheeled and tracked vehicles, and granular material. It is used in robotics, vehicle dynamics and autonomous vehicle research. It is a library rather than a program with a user interface, so it requires programming.
