Pulsar is a community fork of Atom, GitHub’s discontinued code editor, carrying on the idea of an editor you can change almost entirely with JavaScript and CSS. It includes a built-in package manager, language server support for completion and navigation, a project file browser, split panes, multiple cursors, snippets and Git integration. It suits former Atom users who want to keep their packages, or anyone who likes to tailor their own workspace. Limitation: it is built on Electron and relatively heavy, and its package community is much smaller than VS Code’s.
