Rapid SCADA is a complete SCADA system that runs on a Windows or Linux server and is shown to operators in the browser. It collects data from controllers and meters through drivers, stores it in a built-in database, displays mimic screens, tables and event logs, and can run as several nodes that exchange data in real time. It is used for process control, building automation and energy metering, including on embedded computers. Limitation: some modules, such as advanced charts, reports and certain drivers, are paid proprietary add-ons, and the initial configuration takes some learning.
