STEELSOFT designs sheeting and cladding connections to EN 1993-1-8 — bolts, nuts and self-drilling screws through thin layers — for building envelopes, metal roofs and cladding. It selects a suitable fastener automatically and produces a full calculation report.
Why it stands out
- The connection as a stack of layers — each layer thickness, the pre-drilled hole, the free thickness and the EPDM washer are entered separately, at the resolution thin sheet really needs.
