A program for modelling the geometry of woven fabrics and the composites built from them — glass, carbon and aramid fibres. Two- and three-dimensional weave wizards build the yarn structure, including cross-sections that vary along each yarn, and the model is exported for finite element analysis (ABAQUS) or as IGES and STEP geometry to derive mechanical and thermal properties. It was developed at the University of Nottingham and is widely used in research.
