UrBackup

UrBackup project (Martin Raiber)

UrBackup
Download from the vendor www.urbackup.org

UrBackup is installed as a server on a Windows or Linux machine or a NAS, with clients on the work PCs. The server collects fast incremental file backups, because the client watches the chosen folders for changes, as well as disk images of the PCs while they are running. Files shared by several PCs are stored only once. Files are restored via the web interface or Explorer, and a whole PC from a bootable USB stick. It suits a small engineering office that wants central backup of every workstation without licences. Limitations: you need a PC or NAS to act as the server, and disk images are mainly supported on Windows clients.
