VisiData

VisiData project

VisiData
Download from the vendor www.visidata.org

A command-line tool for exploring and analysing tabular data that opens millions of rows in seconds. It reads CSV, Excel, JSON, SQLite, HDF5, Shapefile and more, and lets you sort, filter, compute columns in Python, draw histograms and scatter plots in the terminal and save the steps to replay later. It suits quick checks of logger and measurement files too large for Excel. Everything is keyboard-driven, so it takes some getting used to.
