VisIt — Simulation Results Visualization
Download from the vendor visit-dav.github.io

A tool for looking at the results of large simulations: slices, streamlines, isosurfaces, animation over time and comparison between runs. Developed at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory for datasets too big to hold in a desktop machine’s memory, so it can run in a distributed mode — the graphical front end on your machine, the computation on a server. It reads dozens of formats, including OpenFOAM output, Exodus and Silo. It parallels ParaView, already in the directory; anyone working with output from government or academic solvers may find better support for their format here.
