yEd Graph Editor

yWorks

yEd Graph Editor
Download from the vendor www.yworks.com

A desktop diagram editor that stands out for its automatic layout algorithms: you enter nodes and connections and the program arranges them in hierarchical, orthogonal or circular layouts. It supports flowcharts, UML, BPMN, org charts and network diagrams, imports data from Excel and XML files and exports to PNG, SVG and PDF. Engineers use it for process diagrams, system structures and dependencies between components. It is written in Java and the interface looks somewhat dated.
